Been there! The handle holes in this tray are a bit larger than I intended, due to a slip with the router. I just cut them a little larger & rounded the edges with the router again.

My dad, a builder; had similar observation about the price of Walnut back in 1971, when a customer desired walnut cabinets. That was only plywood, the veneer was so thin as paper, and yet I remember his reaction to the bad price quote.

I kind of curious as to clear hard rock Maple prices over the last ~20 years

Wife paid ~900 bux for unfinished raised panel doors for our kitchen, I made the cabinets, Euro style, euro hinges....wonder what the prices for the wood have done.....

last i priced maple, it was about 8-10/BF.

but wormy maple, which i used to make our kitchen, is only about 2.50/BF. and it looks awesome!

neva mind, did a google, I have a very few 'worms' in the maple, mostly looking like on the search.....where the wormy maple is really full of the few streaks like I see maybe one per door.....
