Washing your Non Daily Driven Car(s)
Curious how often you boys and girls wash/wax your Non Daily Driven vehicles. I am talking about cars that are used on the weekends, driven mostly in fair weather etc?
I've had the Mustang for about 1.5 years. I use it as a weekend car and don't drive it in rain etc. I have a truck for that. I've washed and waxed mine exactly twice...car still looks and smells new. |

i only have my truck.
i washed it about a week ago, on a warmer day, and then the next day it snowed again, and now it's just as dirty as before i washed it. i'll likely try again sometime in April. and then maybe sometime in July, after the rainy season (unless it is late), but likely not before visiting my dad in Sept/Oct. use his water instead. so about 4 times a year. |

I hose the Miata off about once a week (no soap) and spritz with Wax and Dry, then towel off. If things stick like love bugs it gets a scrubbing with a wash brush on a stick followed by the liquid wax.

As needed. I also use a wax as you dry detailer frequently. Hand wax as it's needed, but typically once a month or so.

Heck, if I get the chance I'll wash the daily driver every couple of weeks in nice weather.. If we get a warmer day in the winter, I'll try to hose off the car and the underside to get the salt off it. |

Non daily drivers tend to be ~1/month in the summer. Dailies are once a week in nice weather and as often as possible in winter, usually about once a month
