Default Anyone have garage floor tiles?
Do you like them? Are they too soft?

I am just thinking of having enough for under the cars, not whole garage.

What style, commercial vinyl tile, Racedeck stuff, carpet squares, etc.?

I suppose rubber interlocking. What is best. Not commercial tile.

I have real 20X20 tiles which was a problem when the town did the revalue.....they wanted to consider it a bedroom ! It has no heat but before SSS I had a furnace in the back behind a wall with a vent for air.....they thought it was heat

I did mine in CVT. Been great. Holds up well, cleans up nicely. Only preventative care is I but small 3/8 plywood squares under jack stands.

I need to add that I plan on putting just enough to be under the cars and it will be put on carpet as the garage is carpeted. perhaps that will not work.

Have you looked at the "roll out" garage mats? Available on 1 car or 2 car sizes. Quality 2 car size for under $500.

Forgive me for saying this... but a carpeted garage conjures images of a carpeted bathroom... nasty stuff happens in both locations and the floors suffer the most....

I had "astroturf"-ish stuff in my old garage. I got odd looks when I'd be out there vacuuming my garage.

I have had carpets in garages in other places. I restored my 63 in it, including rebuilding engine. Plastic sheeting is cheap.
