I need to ask for me to find out WTF it is with my DD check engines light. It stays 50% on 24/7. I disconnected the battery, checked all fuses, OBDII reader and nothing.

I wonder if it is the "Life Indicator" It is a 4 Banger, 2.3L with 209,000 miles. Original engine and today I changed the power steering fluid for the first time. Ive used Mobil 1 10W30 since its 3,000 mile first oil change.

I know sweet will be asking for warmer weather. It must be tough to be in weather where it freezes 90/10 antifreeze mix.

Cali smog check gestapo is all over the light-bulb-ectomy move. The very first part of the test is to ensure the check-engine-light lights.

Maybe you need a Ford specific scan tool/software. I had had some luck with obd-2.com scanner cables and software. His Ford stuff has a lot of the factory diagnostics emulated.

I guess I was somewhat going to ask Santa for a shitty old truck, but I'm not sure if I want to up my insurance costs too much right now. I do miss my SUV, but I had to let it go when i had a once in a blue moon chance to buy a C6.

The C6 is on my Xmas list, we went looking today. I have not had a car payment in so long and this would be the first time I don't write a check for a car, have to think it through.

Second choice would be a new mountain bike. I put about 4,000 miles on mine these past 2 years, it's pretty used up and would be much cheaper than a C6.

What to do...............

So there I was trying to photochop your avatars into this GIF, I opened Google and typed
Charlies avatar "old Farts" and all these "photos" popped and now my vivion may be damaged for
couple of days.

Actually, it a contract thing. It was made in China but, the sticker was applied in Mexico, shipped into Long Beach and transported to the North Pole with the Ice Truckers.
