Just kidding!!! The M&P series is well regarded and time tested. However I am not a fan of the caliber.

Just a wild hair. Something a little less “aggressive” when my .45 and the 10mm have had their turns. Also ordered a little .380 for the wife. With the 9mm and .40 S&W I feel my semi-auto itch has been scratched. Next, revolvers.

It is an great shooter.

I have an FN 5.7 and yes the ammo is crazy but I found a guy down on his luck a while ago and got 8000 rounds for $800 including blue, red, and green tips.

I'm just down to my last couple of bricks.

It shoots like a .22, everyone looks at the barrel and thinks its a .22 but it sounds like a large bore rifle and the muzzle flash is huge.

The only downside is the ammo has no lead, so it has a shelf life but I've yet to run into it.

I ask because I have a bunch of surplus ammo in a couple calibers which is magnetic even though the cases are brass. Copper covered steel projectiles are not a new thing... The oldest I have is headstamped in 1974 and it still shoots great.

Great catch on the lyrical lead though!!!!!!!

Luckily my wife doesn’t really argue when I want to buy a new gun. Of course the little .380 I bought her helped.
