Wife & I have been feeling crappy for a couple of days, got worse overnight. Took tests today & we’re both positive for covid.

Doc phoned in prescriptions (Paxlovid), son is picking them up for us later, since we’re not supposed to go out anywhere.

So what are we in for in terms of recovery?

And I don’t have anything good to sell, other than my Tesla, but no one here is interested in that.

Hope you get feeling better, I have had it a few times now and it sucks each time. The good thing, it is usually over in a few days since I have had the shots.

I found that Nyquil was my best home remedy just to sleep and not sit there coughing for hours. Bourbon might be a good substitute

Here's our experience with Paxlovid, we were both very ill before we started taking it. Initially the Paxlovid was amazing and other than the crappy taste in our mouths from the meds we started feeling much better really quickly. Within a couple days we were both feeling like normal......................... until. There is a term used by the medical field called Paxlovid rebound, meaning after a week or so of feeling good your symptoms rebound. We both became very ill again for another couple weeks. Not sure if it was worth taking it, my doctor said it may have prevented a worse outcome but it was a pretty miserable experience.

All my neighbors got two shots and wore mask constantly and have had the Covid/Flu once or twice already. No shots here and never wore a mask no Covid/flu. The biggest scam the medical field/Govt. ever pulled off. It's funny but all the Liberals i know fell for the scam and they all got it even after their shots and keeping their distance. Puppets on a string, or better yet sheep looking for their Shepard/Govt. to help them.
