Default 1955 Chrysler Falcon

The Chrysler Falcon was a two-seater roadster concept car designed by Virgil Exner, and built by Chrysler for the 1955 model year. The car was never put into production.

Was that with a plastic/glass body like the Vette?? or metal, aluminum/steel?? THAT car could have been a major help to push Mopar into a much higher sales volume in ALL their lines.....

I sort of feel that the Vette did that for Chevy....number one sales brand.....

The first 2 years of Corvette was a colossal failure. Wasn't until Chevy installed a V8 did Corvette start to sell.

Exner was way ahead of his time. He was responsible for The Forward Look that made the cars lower, wider, and with fins and jet age styling. In 1957, style and handling and power wise, Chrysler caught GM and Ford totally flatfooted.
