Lived in Lake Tahoe for 2 years I have had my fill of the mountains !! However can never get tired of the tropics.

When we were designing a prison in So Cal we wanted to use electric reheat and their energy code wouldn’t allow it. In warm climates it makes economic sense; it’s way cheaper to install, and it doesn’t get much use so the operating costs aren’t really a factor. That was only ten years ago, wonder when it changed.

The other thing I remember was that we had to include a Kosher area in the kitchen; this was an ICE facility, I guess it was for the occasional Jewish Mexican guest.

I grew up in the mountains had my fill. I had a place out by the desert had my fill. Lived by the ocean for over 30 years i had my fill. Lived in the Mendocino Valley had my fill. I'm thinking of moving to Greenland until i get my fill of tundra.
