You must have watched a different race than I did. ~1/3 of the laps in the truck race were run under caution, and lots more would have been without the red flag with 20 laps to go. They red flagged the race at the end of each stage for a 3 minute pit stop so no positions could be gained in the pits. Same driver won Stage 1, Stage 2 and the race with very few lead changes. I didn't count but it seemed there was a caution flag every 8-10 laps.

Cup race at 4 pm will have two "competition cautions" to allow track maintenance and tire changes in addition to the breaks between stages. NASCAR has lost its way.

Meh, it was ok for background noise while I watched the stock market, fixed window springs, worked out and did other stuff.
Racing on dirt with that kind of horsepower is ok in my world.
The final stage in the 4pm race is long. It'll be interesting to see if the tires last.
Bar Rescue was all repeats anyway.

i only caught the last 10 or so laps. was busy finalizing our tax returns (small refunds, we'll put them toward next year's estimated) and helping Mrs. DAB in the garden.

about 40 min until the big cars light em up.

Entertaining race, but not competitive. 5 lead changes in 250 laps.

It would have been a good race to be at, as it was action packed.
For never driving on dirt before, Daniel Suarez did well. I was actually rooting for him to win at the halfway mark.
A lot of top 10 drivers and dirt ringers had trouble, either crashing out or finishing poorly. I found that refreshing for a change.
It was a fun race to watch. It wasn't just a left turning parade for a change.

Agreed on the fun race to watch and it’s coming back next spring, should give time to correct the tire issues

i liked the over head shot at the end, showing the rising dust cloud.

tough to see the on track action thru all the dust. fun to watch the spin outs, but not much passing for the lead. five 50 lap heats basically.
