I have not been on the corvette forum site for years since I've been on here. I started lurking the C-7 section of the Z06 and the C-7 general section because since I bought the new Z06 I wanted to catch up on any pertinent information about the new car and the mods people are doing to them. I have not come across any threads where some DICK doesn't start an argument over what the OP has posted. I cant get past two or three posts without an argument beginning, this has gotten old with me real quick. Furthermore the arguments start over simple mods people do to their cars for example a guy posts about putting the Z06 air intakes on the two quarter panels of the base C-7 the mod looked nice 1st poster states well I like the look of the standard vents instead of saying nice mod or nice touch first thread negative then in the same thread they start arguing about the CFM's of one intake vs the stock. Unfortunately that site doesn't start permanently banning these trolls, there are a lot of nice people over there with tons of knowledge that just get overshadowed by the constant argument starters. I'm sure other posters over there also feel the same way.

Anyway it's too bad we don't have more discussions in the forum sections of this site to provide the knowledge that is over there. To me that C-7 section is just one big testosterone f@ck fest. It is a shame. That forum was a great place and still is for knowledge but they need to permanently ban some of those assholes that demean and diminish anything people post. I will still open threads there cause I have learned a lot about the C-7 already I'll just take high blood pressure medication prior.

Those valve... errrrr... I mean coil covers are actually pretty slick. For underhood "bling" on these cars, I stick with graffiti.

Cost = whatever spare can of paint you have around the garage.

That has always happened there. The problem is lack of good moderation. As long as Pewter is still empowered, there is a hesiataion to moderate anything unless he can get an ego boost out of it. That one person has done so much long-term harm to that site; though Savewave is oblivious to it.

You are right the knowledge that is over there is immense that is why I go there but the constant arguing is old.
