Default WTF is with some people?
So I muster up the energy today to drive 25 miles to a meeting. Guy doesn't show. Says via text "I didn't think we firmed it up".

Uh....We set it up by chat on Facebook.

Him: Can you meet tomorrow?
Me: Sure - how about Panara on X street at 2pm?
Him: Sounds good.
Me: shoot me your cell # so I have it.
Him: (sends number)
Me: see you there.
Him: cool.

Then he doesn't know which location. Then he says he doesn't have a ride.

Can we meet tomorrow? Yeah, on Saturday?

He's an internationally touring musician. But this is retarded.

Now I'm going to ignore him. My standards for who I spend time with are higher.

If I say I'll be somewhere at a specific time, you can take it to the bank. If you call me, I'll call you back 100% of the time. If you email, I'll respond.

Not my experience with most other people.

Had a guy do that too me recently.. Pizzed me off!

I went to meet him at his house to give him money I owed him for a land installment.
(The son of a friend who died last year I bought my lot from)

He was asleep at 2:30 in the afternoon when I got there but said he was up and would be right out. Ok, no problem, I know he is a night owl.

I sat outside for about 15 minutes and asked if I should come back at another time, he said he would be right out again, after ten more minutes I asked again.

This asswipe told me he was watching his TV show and it was almost over!

I just told him I would catch him later. but then he came out as I was leaving.

I told him the next time he wanted to meet with me he needs to just call or text ahead, and come to my house..

Dude is rude and too stupid to know it!

Sadly, this seems to be the way of the world (especially in sales). I drove 4 hours (each way) twice this week, because the first day, the client suddenly had "too much going on". Made the Sale, but it sure was painful.

Since I work out of the house and live 25 minutes from civilization, I confirm every meeting now as a matter of rote.
