From what's being said it appears the Saudi government is essentially buying everything.

PIF (Public Investment Fund/Saudi Government) will initially be the exclusive investor in the new entity, alongside the PGA TOUR, LIV Golf and the DP World Tour. Going forward, PIF will have the exclusive right to further invest in the new entity, including a right of first refusal on any capital that may be invested in the new entity, including into the PGA TOUR, LIV Golf and DP World Tour.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors will be the head of the Saudi investment fund.

If this makes Mickelson shut his pie hole it's worth it.

Golf fans win, US Ryder Cup wins, there will be a better quality of golf with all players eligible to enter all tournaments.

Not sure on the specifics, but certain the lawsuits have ended, and LIV guys will be back playing the big events.

Does this mean we will get to see Rory and phil in a cage match??

Would also like to know how prominent the Saudi Name will be at PGA tour events.

Koepka is already trolling and insulting Chamblee, no love loss between those two.

I will be sure to watch Golf Central tonight, as pretty certain the entire hour will be Chamblee losing his shit.

There is some speculation that the PGA did not want the lawsuits to get inside the courts, as monahan and the tour have too many secrets that want kept secret.

Pretty certain this agreement also included norman getting a fat check and a one-way ticket out of there, as monahan cannot work with him.

Brooks Koepka did not hesitate to rub salt in the wound.

Immediately after Tuesday’s bombshell news of the controversial LIV Golf circuit agreeing to a merge with the PGA Tour, Koepka took a shot at Brandel Chamblee, the Golf Channel analyst who has been among the Saudi-backed tour’s most outspoken critics.

“Welfare Check on Chamblee,” Koepka tweeted.

I don't follow golf, but if Saudi ownership means golf won't be destroyed by the race baiters and alphabet people, I'd say it's a positive development.

The saudis do have an image problem in the ever-prominent PC world.
Some will view the partnership as bad, mostly left-leaning social groups.
I am indifferent, as our political parties are hypocrites, they side with whomever benefits them the most, I as a mere citizen care mostly about their crude market price.

I do expect some push back in our country with this alliance, by those who still freely buy products from the most brutal regime in the world for the past 100 years--china.

Jay Monahan. He turned down $300M from LIV to stick with the PGA tour
Talk about a knife in the back to all the marquee players that said no to the money. And they didn’t even have the decency to tell them before the news broke.

Watching Golf Channel now, no much about specifics being released from the tour.
Probably two reasons:

jay has to first sell the union to the players, he needs to explain why he caved
Once done, which will not be easy, he will have to sell them on the specifics which will be more difficult

Yep, and a big issue is liv players cashed in, while the loyal PGAers chose their tour over money, and for now it appears they screwed themselves.
