Is the motor older than 20 years?...if so, they changed part numbers...makes it hard for DIY'ers and sends work to jobbers.
All that is needed, watts/volts, phase, HP (ok if slightly more), shaft size, and clocking/rotation....all on the tag.
A majority of those specs^ come standard.

Good morning all I don’t recommend ever changing the alternator on a GT350. I’m assuming it’s the same for all S550 Mustangs. But the wiring connector to the alternator is apparently very fragile and any pressure causes the wires to come loose. Ordered a new pigtail which should be here Monday…then hopefully I can get it finished. PITA!
