What do you consider to be art?

I was MADE to take Art Appreciation my sophomore year as an out-college-elective.
TOTAL BS, what others perceive as art is due to their taste, which vastly differs from mine.
I learned little in that class other than what I taught myself, which is art today SUCKS from that vs. centuries ago pieces.

I am not an art dood, my wall of scotch is art, my cars are art, my daughter's attempts at art are the only pieces of art I value.

BUT, I do like Remington pieces:

Most of it is crap. In some cases literally.

And I prefer lingerie on an attractive woman over nude.

I consider these and several others that I have to be priceless art. They were painted by my dear departed Mom. She painted as a hobby and I love each and every one of them.

My art appreciation, is all over the board......just what strikes my fancy.....but I do like art deco stuff.........especially buildings........love old wood work in victorian homes....etc......stained glass.......mid century modern.......frank loyd wright.....
