Default New Wheels. Again.
I've finally had enough. I've owned full size SUVs for almost twenty years because of my dog hobby. Either my wife or I is at training four days per week and this doesn't include show weekends. It's always the same routine; load the crates, grooming table, sun shades, coolers, training supplies and all the rest of the ancillary items required for training and shows.

At the end of the weekend it's always the same routine; unload all the crap, spend half the day cleaning out my truck which includes an hour with the vacuum trying to get all the dog hair up. I suppose I could leave much of it in my truck but all that crap rattling around drives me insane. Not to mention the miles and wear and tear on my daily driver.

So, today I picked up this '16 Nissan SV200 mini utility van. 18,000 miles, one owner, and plenty of warranty left. $17,500.00. The plan is to load it up wth all the dog training/show equipment and just leave it in there.

Had I known I was going to do this I'd have never purchased the '18 Tahoe a couple months back I'd have bought a Silverado. We've been talking about doing this for as long as I can remember. Today was the day.

It ain't pretty but it sure is ugly.

Seems like a good move. My wife does obedience & scent work training & competition with our dogs, & we're constantly loading & unloading crates, chairs, bags, etc., in her Highlander, since she also picks up the grandkids frequently. I suggested tranporting them in the crates, but that didn't go over well.

We've gotten into this scent work nonsense lately too. Rita cleaned up in Fargo.
