who has cameras in the home ?

Asking because last night at friends Super Bowl party (which I didn't really watch) one of the other neighbors was asked if she has someone letting her dog out when she works....I couldn't believe what she said....

She said she used to but got rid of the guy because she watched him on her hidden cam in living room....jerk off on her couch !

She called him and told him to leave her keys on the counter and leave her home and he asked why and all she said was....I have a camera in the home
All he said 4 times was ohhhhh
She said she had the couch steam cleaned

I have a total of 16 cameras in and around my house. 5 of them are on the inside.

I have them in all my homes. But only turn them on when I am at a different home.


I found out a trusted neighbor was renting one out. I caught him when I presented him utility bills. At least he did not tamper with the meters trying to cove his ass.

We have a couple, mostly to monitor the doggies while we are out dining or shopping, gives us a heads-up on whatever they destroy.

This. House is prewired for a security system and cameras. We have no plans to install any.

None inside, that shit seems kinda creepy. Maybe if we had small kids, but only have a few outside because the BLM movement threatened our community a few years back.

We have two dogs who let us know if a pin drops on the property. And a safe full of pew pew to use as necessary.

I have them inside and outside. the inside cameras are used to monitor entrances and exits. the only exception is I have one in my bedroom covering my walk-in closet where my big scary mean and evil guns are stored when they aren't at the bottom of the river after a tragic boating accident.

Blink cameras outside. 1 camera in the room where the dog lays during the day, usually not on but I'll check in on him couple times a day.

I have one in my barn to watch my barn cats, and to see if their hopper is getting low.

I tried two different cams, sent them both back cuz you needed a monthly sub, **** that.

Ended up with a “Eufy.” Works great, no sub needed.

One inside with speaker so I can tell my dog to eat if I'm not home. She'll see food coming out of the wifi dispenser and doesn't eat until I give the go ahead.

I got a few Wyze brand cameras as a gift, when I was taking care of an elderly relative. I ended up only using one, which was good enough. Satisfactory view, capability to talk through the camera, although not really enough volume there for a hard of hearing person to hear you while on the receiving end. I could hear sounds the camera picked up just fine, but had to shout into the phone for the person to hear the tiny speaker mounted in the camera.

Worked on internet, no subscriptions, no fees. Not super high resolution, but well enough to make sure a person or pet is OK.

Just canceled Ring basic subscription because of their price increase. I don’t need a history. Live coverage and alerts is all I require.
