Took an Uber today to pick up my truck from the Ford dealer.
The Uber smelled like a combination of Pakistani farts and a fruity Glade plug-in.

$50 to sit in the back of a Camry.

The real question is would Kathy want to spend the time with him? I think we all know the answer to that question!

You could be dead in five years. How much money is enough? I retired at 58 and said enough. Glad i did.

I'd do it on the condition that I work 100% remote. This flying to Moab every week is for the birds.

It is remote work from home. I fly out there every 4-6 weeks for a few days. Never over a weekend. I gotta think on it…

For me, it got down to the fact that I no longer enjoyed my job. 35 really enjoyable years, and two that sucked balls. I planned on two more, but COVID in CA changed my job from engineer to epidemiologist. I was a rule enforcer. It was the worst job I ever had, including cleaning Denny's carpets at 0300.

If you enjoy the work, go for it. If not, do something else.

Morning Robert, Brent and the rest of youins

Nothing like 20 minutes of spaz running full speed already today... Humidity dropped and he's cranked up. I need ice for the shoulder as I didn't warm it up. Great.

Have a good day and may the trolls all goto hell or Chicago whatever is worse

Morning Ben, you getting in on any of this slightly cooler weather?

Think I'll trim some dead branches out of the pines this morning before heat returns this weekend.

That is great news!

We had a leak in our irrigation system fixed last week. It took an irrigation guy a couple of hours to fix. It was hot that day.

You can also buy more great scotch and cigars. Having said that, time is more valuable than money. I picked a date years ago and committed to absolutely not work past that date, and I won't.

Funny, my boss and I had similar conversation last Friday.

Hmmm. Tough one.
I sit here and contemplate returning to work after 2 years of retirement.
Over that period, I finished up the projects I had planned on doing,
so now any other big projects require $$$$ I don't have access to right now.
I only contemplate, because I'm by myself, but I can't handle
stupid people anymore.

Guess that answers my contemplation.
YRMV.

Have a good one.
