Funerals.. this hit hard.
A good friend of mine died from the widow maker at 61 y/o. It was a shock. I saw him as a 2nd father figure. Went to the viewing last night, had nothing I could say to his widow, so I just gave her a big hug and we cried a bit.
Funeral service was today. Very nice and his youngest daughter did a great job with the memorial/eulogy. Not a dry eye in the place. I've seen a lot of death in my life, deployment, Army times, but this one hit hard. I will miss my friend and the family will miss their patriarch

Condolences. very sorry for your loss.
Everyone please get blood work done at least once a year... I am fortunate and do, but even I was hit almost 3 years ago with a 99% block. I walked into ER, 210/110 BP. 28mm stent 2 days later. Only thing that saved me was my Nurse cursing me to go to ER, and i had 3 arteries vice 2. |

Widow makers are the suck for sure, so sorry to hear.
I hope to go like coworkers dad went, in his 80's and falling out of a tree. At that phase and in shape enough to do that.. yup... good with it as I know the rest of my life was enjoyable. RIP Chopper
