73? Well, you are used to constant pain at that age so a tat won’t even make you blink. 2 reasons to get a tattoo. You want to have something that can identify you or you want to be a walking billboard.

Back in 71 right before i went overseas i was in Georgia. We all got drunk and went to Eddie Pease Tattoos. Funny how i can remember his name and not 60% of my time in the Military. They were $10 back then same as the Choir women. I got in the chair and told him what i wanted and he said i only do that tattoo 7 inches long and i wanted it 5 inches long. Told me to get the Fk out of his chair. He ended up doing 2 tattoos each for my 3 friends. They woke up there next morning and couldn't believe what they got. I imagine a cheap tattoo 53 years ago would look pretty bad.

A friend has a 20-something daughter who is basically an idiot. He has been taking her advice about stuff. More or less ruined his life. Example: he grew a beard at her suggestion. She tells him it looks great. His beard is all grey and he went from looking middle aged to looking quite old. Another example: She and her now-ex boyfriend were into having very large dogs. She pawned off two of them on my friend, who hasn't got a pet-owning bone in his body. Now he is a slave to the dogs, doesn't walk them enough, doesn't understand how to care for them, won't take any reasonable advice about how to do so. But he has them because she says it's cool. Oh, and she broke up with the boyfriend (or maybe the other way around) and she got rid of her dogs because they were interfering with her lifestyle.

Maybe she'll tell my friend to get a tattoo next. On his forehead.
