I have personally witnessed 100+ mph winds. And I know winds at or near 150 mph have tested my buildings.

Lost a handful of shingles during Hurricane Opal.
Serious water during the rainmaker Hurricane Georges. Not a leak or flood.
Had a few hip cap shingles blow off during Hurricane Ivan.
And a medium size tree fell over during Hurricane Michael and it landed on the roof of my shop causing damage to a few shingles.

The gorgeous Blue Ridge area of Georgia is the next target in the onslaught of liberal jerk offs trying to escape the big cities - I've already seen it starting in the 8-10 years I've occasionally visited. As to hurricanes, the worst ones I've been through have been in Virginia, not Florida - like Hazel. As to 100 mph winds, few have been through them, usually 65mph-85mph and people feel like they've been through more.
