This is a picture I received this morning of my friend and classmate from the FBI National Academy. He is one of the many Afghan interpreters and allies our President is leaving behind! Luckily, he had the 250 of us from FBINA session 275 and all our contacts around the globe working our own “magic” to get him and his family to the airport and on a plane. It appears, just in the nick-of-time too. The doors to Afghan allies closed right after this was taken. Thank you, Jesus! Just a testimony or what the dedication and devotion a small group of people can pull off. If we as a class had not been there for him I would hate to think what fate would have befallen he and his family. He is a good man who would surely have been killed for his assistance to the U.S. in our time of need. But, our president couldn’t be bothered to repay the favor. It took us five days, stays in safe houses and several dangerous attempts to get them actually through the gate. But the mission was accomplished! And 75 total souls were saved in addition during this mission. Thank you to all those stateside who put pressure share it needed to be and to the men and women in that country who safeguarded our cargo at your life’s risk. Thank to the U.S. Marines on the ground who, as always, did the right thing! Thank you! Godspeed my friend! We will see you here in the U.S. soon. It’s still the greatest country on earth despite our current leadershit. I am blessed to call you friend!

This was the home of the people that helped us. They didn't plan to leave, they planned to win. Now that we've abandoned them their lives and their families lives are at risk. The US citizens that are still there, well they should have read the writing on the wall. That's no excuse for us to leave them there without a plan to get them out though.
