meh, i've done colder. did the mid-winter polar plunge in Antarctica, into the frozen Ross Sea, once you get the top 6 feet of ice out of the way, the sea water is about 28.5F....brrr....and you do this event wearing sneakers and a smile.

Hi kids, glad your enjoying the travel log, but just to clear up climate stuff, in Ontario we grow all types of fruit including some of the best peaches you can get. Around Niagara on the Lake the climate is mild enough for fruit trees, and wine grapes

sounds like a PR campaign to lure unsuspecting tourists north....then something happens...and profit!!

actually, i've been up to Canada many times. place that i remember best is the Bay of Fundi.

It is sorta, because most Americans know almost nothing about it's next door neighbor! In school here we learn all about the states, your history, even all the presidents names, and the rest of the world too!
The bay of Fundy is being considered as a new "wonder of the world" with the highest tide changes in the world, over 50 feet!

no plans to wander up there anytime soon. i did cross the border from Glacier Park years ago....looked just like the US part of the park, so turned around and went back.
