If you really think that the only reason that the majority of people buy the Z06 is because it has more horsepower, you lack even the most basic understanding. I bought an S6 over an A6. The horsepower difference was about 10th on the list of why... and I guarantee that an overwhelming majority of people who do buy the higher versions of vehicles also have the basic critical thinking skills required to understand something beyond a singular number on a spec sheet. |

I am definitely a Corvette Fanboy, I love all Corvettes, and V-Series Caddies.
With that said, a supercar is: 1) very limited production 2) sometimes has a waiting list 3) is $300+K 4) have a VERY steep appreciation curve While I do not consider the C8Z, or the one day soon to be released C8ZR1, to be supercars, I will state they offer unmatched value, and will embarrass many cars on road courses they cost 3X more. I would like to own this one day: |

And the CEO of Hertz is resigning after his colossal bet on EVs. Two problems, 1) they are too expensive to maintain, and 2) nobody is renting them.
The entire EV industry is getting torn apart from the inside because the market, and the manufacturers have now learned extremely powerful lessons. Build what the market wants, not what the green douchbags say you should build. Most predictable failure of all time. |
