I think Dickless Joe Urine Stream first Vette was a 88. He lurks in here 13 times a day.

Dickless Joe Urine Stream, How was your 1888 Corvette?

I just noticed this post in the CF from Mr. Troll.

I guess he could not take my posts and he is going to the popos. At least I post under my name. Only a scared wussy man post as other man.

I always race on the track always.

That guy used to post relevant c4 stuff about bringing back his basket case. I guess he realized that for the money, he could have actually had a much better car...either that or he's discovered methamphetamine.

Mike, there is a guy in the CF that replied to your post regarding the ZR1 oil cooler. He stated the ZR1 oil cooler is not effective. Is he trying to fire you/ZR1 community up?

I've seen the ZR1 oil coolers and they are a good size.

I believe it is a misunderstanding of how it works on an LT5. Some aftermarket lines and or the restriction on the thermostatically controlled bypass valve is the flow limiter on the LT5. That is specific to that engine, but if you plumbed the same cooler with an adapter off of a smallblock, you could shed a lot of BTU's with that copper cooler in the radiator airflow.

You could get more capacity with some aftermarket ones, but not much, especially since you have no oil cooler with the regular vette- anything is a huge upgrade. It's fits so oem, I would search one out, rebuild a bad LT5 unit or duplicate it if I ever end up with an LT1 that I need an oil cooler on. Aircraft places rebuld oil coolers all the time for cessnas- I would take a bad one off of somebody any day of the week.
