Would making everything right include issuing a recall? Hmm

The real push here is that the liberals think that there are too many people on earth. Thus, there must be a reduction, and measures put in to exert total control over the population. Covid was a first try. Now climate change is another try. The key is to sell the concept that the world is going to end in 100 years IF we don't all live in poverty today. Then tell you that you must feel guilty for destroying your children's future. Seems reasonable, right? Sorry - I'm not buying what the governments of the world are selling. |

As a person that came dam close to being cooked alive in a car fire in 2016 I have made this observation. Its far from scientific and my opinion only.
It appears more vehicles after a crash are burning. I do not know why. It could be thinner more flimsily plastic gas tanks, bad plumbing on lines that contain volatile liquids, serious other design faults. I watch my local news and read 3 papers and I can note but not prove why. This was written about normal petrol powered cars/trucks. The EVs are in their own category. I know a couple people high up in NYS Fire and they are not happy about the newer vechicles and some batteries! |

Agreed. Even with the pump off, de-activated by a roll-over or impact switch, the static pressure in the rail can be 40-90 psi. If you've ever hit the Schrader valve on a fuel rail under pressure, the fuel sprays out fast and far... and instantly. And all the plastic underhood components, even the new plastic inake manifolds and valve covers and engine covers will burn. Unlike the old-school carbureted car with metal intakes, valve covers, and air filter housings.

And with all the modern S A A A F E T Y!!! regulations handed down from our superiors in Washington, one would think modern cars would be way safer than the old ones. I drove plenty of junkers when I was young, and whatever since then, never had anything close to a fire. Cars I stored over the winter, I would pop the air cleaner off in the spring and splash some gas down the carb before cranking it, so it would start easier. No fires. |
