If someone is buying a truck for truck duty (hauling and towing) they would be wise to consider GVWR and payload capacity.

Hauling and towing are only two things to do with a truck. I have mine primarily as a second vehicle that can haul furniture, trash, and small to medium size loads for the construction of my addition. Has not failed me yet.

Heaviest thing that I would ever tow is my TBird, or similar sized car. Maybe an old Rolls if I could find just the right deal. The 'Bird is 4400#, trailer weight maybe 1500, so say 6000#. Bump up a bit more for the Rolls. Still under the limit, and again, not a typical day. More like once/ 5 years or so.

Appears to meet the towing needs. Be careful on the handling and most importantly the stopping. And keep an eye on the payload capacity (and tongue weight / hitch limits) and of course GCVW.
