And as my link showed, the pro-grade products are made in Germany, which is where the company is based. I purchased a pro-grade Echo, made where that company is based, in Japan. Once more your stupidity continues to entertain. Looks like I struck a nerve. Rent free, Himey. |

Echo is made in America with more American sourced parts than any other brand...even their plastics are molded here.

On the 2511, the recoil handle is designed to act as a tool fir loosening the caps should they become too snug.
Better than stihls flippy caps unless you enjoy bathing your cock in mixed gas, probably more action than some of these stihl homos would get otherwise. |

Look at this minty survivor from 1986, original bar and chain, guy bought it new, used it once and put it back in the case. The case disentegrated when he picked it up, still had the reciept and a spare chain in the box.

Chunked up this little pile from a hung-up tree this afternoon. So much easier than my old McCullough from the 80's, 18" bar.

A year or so later I bought a new McCullough (as I mentioned earlier). It was great compared to the Clinton, it would actually cut once I got it started. But starting it was always a PITA, hot or cold. Then the Echo in 2001. Always starts good, always cuts good. Never done anything to it except sharpen the chain and clean the air filter regularly. |

It has a nice chain brake like my old saw; set that to put the saw down, or to walk through brush and loose footing. Light enough to cut with one handed if the need arises. |
