It was on a weekday at the old Long Beach 1/4 drag. I lost by few cars, but it was an awesome race.
Pete, Im sure you have an everlasting image of her in your mind that you can never get rid of .....But I guess that doesn't count......I know there are a few I would like to forget forever, but they pop into my mind every now and then..........WW

I always liked the Grand Nationals but could never come up with the money for one.. Seems the kids always needed things like shoes, clothes, and food, if they could have just eaten 2 meals a day instead of 3, maybe I could have swung a GN ......WW

Ok- here's my 92 1LE. Notice the fog light delete for brake ducts or additional radiator cooling. Probably put together a post about it in Off Topic along with my 69 RS.

Cool car Mike.

I've never seen a 91~92 Z28 without fog lights.

Hey mine was a 25th Anniversary HP and came without the damn racing stripes. I almost got them done once in a paint shop next to the Angels stadium, got a quote, and never returned.

The Heritage Appearance Package was ...I don't remember exactly, but maybe a $400 option. Since I custom ordered that car as a 1LE (nobody stocked 1LE cars because they didn't have a/c), I had to individually select the options the car had. You didn't get a package- you got either nothing but the base interior with roll up windows, or you individually ordered the nicer bits.

It was $17k at invoice- which I was able to get easily. It was one of the last Ccamaros to be made in the Van Nuys plant before it moved to Canada. Took 5 weeks to get. payment was $290 a month and it really kicked my ass back in the day.

Mine was $278, and also kicked my butt. Those days were the Clinton days, and our basic pay was worthless.

I knew it.

Funny, If the President was a Republican, this North Korea's theatrical would have never happened.
