Trust me, they have an answer for every bullshit defense you can possibly think of.

My friend in HS got a brand new '84 Corvette, one of the first in Houston with a 4+3 manual transmission....shitty 2-tone bronze color. He got stopped on the road outside his neighborhood for a speed high enough that he had to see the judge vs. simply write a check. Judge asks him, why were you going that fast. My buddy says, "sir, just trying to get out of 2nd gear."

I'm guessing the judge found him guilty.
