Maybe its just the seasonal change; my Dad's sugar would go all over the charts at the change of seasons for a few weeks then would go back to "normal". Maybe the time change affected it?

Hey Shades. I obsess over losing her early. She has had some serious lows at night that have scared the shit outta me. For a 9 year old she has a long time to get better control, but we do not want to cause organ damage earlier then needed. She is having some eye trouble now that we need to look into.

Yeah, that is why I think a1c can be a bit misleading. To me, having bad lows is way more dangerous than an a1c being a little high. Lows can happen way too fast, I'd rather be a little safe.

Yeah agree, but the flip side of having a high bg all the time is not so hot either.
