May I suggest underground racing? For a small fee....perhaps the value of both your dodges...they can do things to that car.

Absolutely. And no, but we thought about it.

As a side note, this is NOT like buying a Chevy from some schlock salesman. There was absolutely no pressure. Going into the negotiation (yes, there was some) the finance manager and sales manager and myself all sat down. It was more of a discussion. Took all of 5 minutes. Everyone walked away happy. Easiest process I have ever gone through.

We were given a tour of the entire facility...especially the service department. I was introduced to the service manager and shop foreman who, by the way, is supposed to be "the" Lamborghini and Ferrari expert for a multi-state region. So much so, that many owners ship their cars in from out of state for him to work on them. It was a virtual candy store of horsepower. There was a million dollar 1960's Ferrari on the lift being prepped for a concourse competition, 2 Aventadors being serviced, a Momo edition Diablo, serveral Gallardos and a 25th Anniversary Edition Countach having the engine rebuilt. When they started one of the Aventadors, the building shook. It was mesmerizing.

Now that I am on the "client list" ( sorry...I still ) I will be receiving invitations to track days. One in May using your own car and one in November sponsored by Lamborghini where you can drive their cars.

Yeesh...glad the T-shirts were free!

Awesome car Mike, congrats!!

I've had my eye on a f430 for about a year now. Every time I think about pulling the trigger I remember where I live. No place to drive fast, no service within 100 miles and everything rusts here.

Everything comes with a trade off I guess. Enjoy your new toy!

Just this and the ZR-1. That's plenty.

Funny we had a discussion about that. I was told that the Ferrari dealer was like a different atmosphere...stuffy, aloof, almost that they didn't care if you bought a car or not. Everyone in the dealership who passed me said congratulations, shook my hand, and made me feel as though they were genuinely glad to welcome me into the family. Very comfortable and relaxed. I was never made to feel that my purchase was any less important than the sale of a $400,000 car.

Maybe it's great marketing, but lemme tell ya, they've earned my business.

From what I've seen and read, that doesn't change when you actually buy one either... besides that, I'm not sure the uniform is your style...

"So it's kind of a straight across trade. I'll be left with the ZR-1 and the Gallardo, and that's enough."

Ya think/

Dang pretty car there IC. Congratulations on buying something that really sets you on fire. It would me too.
