A: Nothing yet. I messaged the seller, asking if they would do local pickup, no response, so I blew that off. Still weighing options. I'm not in a hurry.

Friends got a Bose back in the day and it was amazing. Today, my $20 Apple ear phones plugged into my I-phone streaming music are far, far superior. I'm hearing notes and instruments and effects in songs I've listened to for 50 years for the first time. Amazing.

And who buys CD's anymore? Most people just stream the music.

Disclaimer: I listen to CD's, cassette tapes, LP's, 45's, and 78's at home on various random and primitive equipment.

Thanks. I'll consider it, but just kind of lost interest for the moment.

Update:

I just dug out my parents' old Bose Acoustic Wave radio, that looks like this:

As I remember, the CD player still doesn't work, but the am/fm works fine. And yeah, it doesn't sound as good as I remember it sounding back in the day. Still big sound from a small package, I just remember it being, I don't know.....better sounding. Given that, I guess I don't see any reason to fix or track down another clock radio.
