I should use Rotella Diesel in the Fiat, cuz flat tappets, solid cam. My TBird has a roller cam.

I was kind of interested in the GT500 too, even considered trading my Bronco in to reduce the price.

Talked with my son in law, who owns a 2003 Terminator Cobra, and he
told me GT500's are only available in automatics.
What?
Only the GT350s and lesser models are manuals.

I have not done entensive research, but have read the Voodoo 5.2 V8 has problems with failure, due to valvetrain.

With that said, still a great car, and I would buy if I needed, and would upgrade the internals.

That being a known factor, I'd only keep it through the 5 year
(7 year extended) powertrain warranty.

This is what I plan to do with the current Bronco I have (late 2021 manuf date)
which has the bad valves 2.7 v6. No problems yet (supposedly early failure,
I'm at 15k miles and 33 months old)

This is true, You need to get a previous generation of GT500 to get a manual (they didn't used to even offer an automatic)

That is still why the C6Z is special, a collectible, less the shitty heads.
Man Pedal Only and the roof was flat, er I mean fixed.

The C6 Z06 Corvette. I went to the dealer five times, and I couldn't pull the trigger. I wanted the power, but it always looked dated.
