I uses a compass to locate the rear property pins (iron rods) no problem.

But laying out the foundation in the middle of a field is another story. I was close enough that it would be ok, but the surveyor was available for a few hundy so I wanted to check just because.

I did not have him check the barn that's already built. Didn't want to know how far off true E/W-N/S I was.

All old people have the heat turned up to 80deg and still wear a sweater.

The old ticker is losing pressure (bad circulation). I've felt it since hitting 60.
Can't stand the cold. Can't take the heat and humidity. I'd move to Sandi Eggo, but it's in Commiefornia.

Back in 2016, my FIL had a new furnace installed.
He called up the SO one day in January, and told her the furnace had stopped.
It was 65 degrees in the house (they set the thermostat at 85 degrees).
It was Saturday morning, very cold and snowing. I went over and putzed around, but couldn't get it running.
Called the 24 hour hot-line the installer had, and dude who answered didn't
want to venture out, but he did help me over the phone get the unit fired up. The same guy
came out Monday (saved the In-Laws the emergency trip charge), and replaced some
parts on the furnace under warranty. He told the SO to turn the thermostat
down some, 85 was too high.

Blood work and paperwork next week, lucky me.
I'm heving wife bring me Hardee's soon as get out of procedure. That no eating thing will make me a bit pissy. I will get zero sleep there also so checking myself out early Saturday may happen. I need to be home for football games also.

Heat n humidity get to me more every year also. I gave up on cold weather decades ago as I just can't take the pain in joints from it.

Anyone notice the moon last night? Last time you'll see the brightest moon in the sky this year. I thought it was a streetlight at first! So bright you could drive your car with no headlights on if you wanted to.....(not recommended by the way.)

Any way....I went back to bed this morning and had a great nap. Now it's time to start checking things off the "to do" list.

Saturday is upon us so college football watching day.

Good Saturday morning to Ben, Jim, Mike, Rob, Brent, Al, Lisa, Larry, Tiki, Big Al, and all you other cool cats and smarmy varmints alike!

Another day of super weather today, no rain expected until late next week. I'll take it for sure. More like summer than fall around here.....leaves haven't even started turning colors yet.
