Electrician and plumber are doing their thing and will be there for a few days. We have a bunch of outlets that we need to move due to the kitchen getting moved to the other room and before we seal the walls up prior to the inspection we want to make sure its all up to code. We had a framer working on the siding repair (should have finished that today) and the house has been pressure washed and the exterior paint started today also. Same colors as the last couple as its different and we have had good luck with it. Gutters, doors and windows on this one are decent so thats a cost we didn't have to take on this go around.
All in all we moving at a decent clip. We are trying to get the bobcat in there before weeks end to dig out the back where we are putting the window in and to fill in the sink hole. Some of the rooms on the inside have been primed too. This house had some evidence of dog piss on the floors so we are priming over the floors twice to seal in any odors. This is all second hand info from my GC and my pops who has been checking in on the project for me. I personally havn't been there since Saturday. I'm going to try and pass by tomorrow evening but with work and the kids it might not happen. Worst case i'll get pics up this weekend. |

Wife passed by on her way home and texted me this pic.

Looks great already. Just taking those trees down dramatically improved the curb appeal. The color is awesome too. I still need to give you a call. Looking forward to more pics.

Stopped by to drop of a check to my GC today and took some pics.
Closet ripped out to open up the entry and dining room. Opened up the doorway from the kitchen to the dining area.. Pressure washed and painted the deck. Railing is the color of the trim, floor is brown. Gutters and shutters are bronze.. Not sure about the shutters.. May go black. Backs done.. Will have to touchup once we grade for the basement window this week. Plumbing and electric is pretty much done. Waiting on inspector approval. Basement is all framed up. Have to reroute HVAC and add electric before we sheetrock. We are changing it for a 3 bedroom to a 4 by finishing out half the basement. The other half is the drive under garage.. We are adding an HVAC storage closet and doing a mini tray in part of the ceiling int he basement. Ceilings will be sheetrock not drop. |
