I just found out you can be billed for submitting a freedom of information act request. Depending on what you ask for it can be extremely expensive because what you're paying are the wages of the people involved in compiling the information. It's as if we aren't already paying their wages

Penne

You might be surprised to learn how relatively new a lot of pasta shapes are. Penne was invented in 1865 when Italian pastamaker Giovanni Battista Capurro made a machine that cut thin tubes of pasta dough at an angle. He patented his penne machine on March 11 of that year, which makes penne one of the few pastas with a verifiable birthday.

"Hispanic" is not a race. It is a made-up term by the left to further divide people.

Spain is a country in Europe, Spaniards are of the Caucasian (white) race.

I've had to respond to FOIA requests as a Fed employee, some are so arcane it takes searching through massive amounts of data, such as email archives or old paper records; in the more important cases the requests have time limits and contractors are involved - so year, its above and beyond normal employee duties.

Also, factoid: Frogs can't swallow.....

There is no such thing as race. What most people think of as "race" are merely phenotypic variations.

When the 350Z launched, it had a base price of a little under $27,000.

That was only a few grand more than itty-bitty roadsters like the Mazda Miata and Toyota MR2, but the Z came with twice the horsepower, and indeed only 30 ponies fewer than a Porsche 911.

Although it weighs more than a Corvette, the 350Z’s multi-link front and rear suspension and well-weighted steering made it a solid handler.

The standard six-speed manual, optional viscous limited-slip differential, and pedals placed specifically for heel-and-toe downshifting were tailored to enthusiast drivers.

Another nifty feature is the instrument cluster, which adjusts up and down with the steering wheel.

Reviews were generally positive, with Car and Driver calling the 350Z “a very satisfying drive with terrific control feel” and Evo magazine calling it “hairy-chested, vaguely uncouth yet hugely desirable.”

The 3.5-liter VQ-series V-6 in the Z makes 287 horsepower in the earliest models, and it makes a sweet, deep, throaty sound that’s even better with a good exhaust. 0-60 arrives in 5.4 seconds.
Later cars got even quicker.

Ever wonder why some calendars, for example, will say the full moon is on the 16th of some given month, but another calendar might show it being on the 17th?

Keep in mind that a full moon is not for one whole night; it's only for one instant in time. Everything is in constant motion.

If that instant comes at 12:02 AM, or even 3 PM, some calendars may list it for that night, some might list it for the next night.

Depending on where you are on the planet, you may never actually see it "full" on some particular month, like if that point in time comes in the middle of the day for your location. You will see it the night before, but it won't be quite full, or the night after, at which time it will be a bit past full.

Y'all can rest well in your graves knowing this important fact.
