Not sure how many for the Camaro, but they do full brake system changes (calipers, pads, rotors, etc). It's pretty spectacular to watch. It's all quick disconnects. Comes out as 1 assembly and back in with another.

I think I heard someone say that this was 1 of the factors (prior to the transmission) that hurt the Camaro. It took them 11(?) minutes to change brakes vs. a much shorter time for the typical endurance teams with quick setups.

Damn, 11 minutes is impressive, I have to wait 11 weeks for parts to show up.

And Team Cadillac, 3rd and 4th, finished all 24hrs and did well.

Finishing 24hrs in a car is awesome, I get stuck in traffic for 10 minutes and my C7Z starts pushing 220+ temp.

Is there serious brake fade by end of race??
Watching the G56 team together with LMP2 was very telling. The braking point for the Camero was at least 50' earlier. That beast is really heavy, but they got it 500 lbs less than cup, and under 3,000. LMP2 by comparison is just a tad over 2,000.

With all the different access points (Pratt Miller, Twitter, MotorTrend, etc.) it certainly felt like it!

Wasn't that one of the issues in Ford vs Ferrari that they did that and other teams were raising hell about it?

No. He had access to his TV remote.

Actually he probably conned his boss into sending him and his girl and a select few raccoons on a free vacation.
