As I said, 99.8% of sods IS water.
If I drink 4.95 liter water and then eat 5 grams of aspartame and flavoring, it is the same.

You don’t need that. Buy my weight loss book, only $9.95 + S&H. It’s a quick read with two chapters.

Chapter 2: Move more.

YW.

I like food. Ozempic kills appetite.. It helps me to eat less as I fill up quickly. I used to be able to finish a large Pizza by myself.. Now, I can eat 3 slices max before my stomach starts hurting. Ozempic is good stuff. Also helped my Cholesterol. I got virtually perfect Cholesterol.

Most people my age have those issues if they are overweight. Weight is the main contributor. Show me a 52 year old with 31.5+ BMI with normal A1C and blood pressure.
It has to do with weight, not diet sodas.
When I was under 200 lbs, my numbers were perfect.

Never bad but not perfect. I used to be like 195 total cholesterol and 55 good cholesterol..
With Ozempic, total dropped to 160 and good cholesterol stayed above 50.

A1C should be lower on Ozembic, that’s pretty high when you’re already on a diabetes med. I have type 2 and take Jardiance and weigh between 210 and 215 with an A1C of 5.7.

I was 7.2 when I started Ozempic.

How tall are you? Weight means little without height. If you are 6'2 and 215, you have a much better BMI than me.

.
I just love food. I'm aware that being overweight comes with health issues and I'm taking Ozempic to help losing weight. Diet sodas have nothing to do with me eating too much. I just love good food. I make good money, so, I eat out a lot. Enjoyment of food is part of enjoying life. Ozempic really helps with appetite.

I get all that. I don’t get needing a drug to suppress appetite instead of simply eating less.

15 sodas a day for 38 years will do that.

I won 2 diet competitions a few years ago. I lost like 40 lbs in 10 weeks to win $2000.
Money was the motivator back then to lose weight. I have no motivation to lose weight.
Ozempic forces me to not eat too much.

Not sure anecdotal data has any value here. Before Bidenflation, I was paying $1.29 for a dozen eggs. Just bought 2 dozen yesterday, $2.79 each, about a 116% increase. The price of lots of things I buy has more than doubled in the last 2-3 years.

If he is on Ozempic, and has an A1C of 6.6, he IS diabetic. There isn't any "pre" about it. He is taking a reasonably powerful drug to treat his diabetes, and STILL is not below 6.5.

You have a BMI of 31.5, you are on a strong diabetes drug and still have an A1C of 6.6, AND you have high blood pressure? And you think you DON'T have any "health problems"? Maybe we should go back to discussing spending 45 minutes at a truck stop half way to Grandma's house, when a different choice of vehicle would shorten that to 5 minutes.

FWIW: One of my friends from college is at most 6' tall, and weighs at least 350 pounds, and has been that heavy for at least 20 years. He has normal blood pressure and A1C. He recently had a hip replaced, and has other orthopedic problems that IMO, are related to his extreme obesity. Of course, he doesn't agree with tme on that, and I admit, I might be wrong.

I am 6' 1", and around 215, BMI about 28, so overweight but not obese. I'm 59, and in recent years am starting to have trouble staying consistently under 7 on my A1C, taking the minimum amount of metformin. My doctor wants me to take the ozempic, and swears I'll be thinner and in the low 6s in 6 months or less. I'm not interested in injecting stuff daily.

I have IRL friends who are on Jardiance and are happy with it, so I am thinking of possibly trying that next year. Do you have any side effects from it?

I'm a recovering Diet Mt Dew addict. I would drink it until I felt lightning strike jabs of pain in my head. I decided I should quit. Still have one on occasion.
