Seriously though, when I returned from overseas, somehow I got plunked down doing intelligence analysis at COMLANTCOMELINGCEN in Norfolk. I worked Barents Seas submarine intelligence missions; those ballsy guys would sail nearly "danger close" to Soviet warships, submarines and surface craft to record all the electronic emissions from the ships The tapes of the electronic emissions also had an audio track and you could often hear the fear in the intercept operator's voice. Intense stuff.
