Well if that is him, he must of been coming off a bender the way he was throwing threats around. I'm no Hokie (6'3" 200 lbs) but it doesn't look like he would want too many people looking for him at Carlisle.

Reading some of the latest posts I see not all have let it go and some new people came into the mix. I will be at Carlise enjoying the show. I went into the Union a hard worker, I came out the same way.. The reason I don't comment or defend when I see you guys knocking Unions is because I agree with part of what your saying . I have seen guys take advantage and use the Union as a shield against the companys. I was lucky to have worked for UPS and can assure you everyone there worked hard and got there jobs done. Not doing the job was not tolerated by the company or our Local Union.. I guess what Im saying is don't lump all Unions into the same catagory, just as with most things in life, some are good , some are bad........WW

I am familiar with the teamsters at UPS. In my time managing Distribution Centers for Staples, I used them almost exclusively. I would ship between 20,000 to 30,000 packages a night. I had 53 footers coming and going 24 hours a day.

That group always treated us like we were their most important customer.

UPS is one company where I can honestly say I've never seen a lazy employee....quite the contrary, they are running their asses off most of the time. But there is a theft problem.....My grandmother ordered John Denver's Box Set 4 times, and all 4 times it vanished from the warehouse. Imagine that!

Some of the guys at UPS really like John Denver.. I for one am a big fan, and it just so happens I have a few extra box sets of his DVDs here that I can let go at a reasonable price, if she still hasn't recieved hers....I must of just over purchased or something...Imagine that!!!.......WW

My grandfather was a UPS OTR driver... when he retired he was the highest seniority person in the entire company. I have forgotten the actual numbers after quite a few years gone by but if I remember the stories correctly he worked at UPS from the 1940s when he came back from WWII until he retired in the early 90s.
