What's good tune up parts for better fuel mileage?
Those cars work best with ACDelco parts
Replace PCV valve, spark plugs and both O2 sensors
I believe that a good throttle body cleaning helps the idle quality as well.
As for the brakes, the $20 pads and rotors are a big no-no as you already know
Brake service was done every 20k, take apart clean and lube the slides and most had no problems

Use the correct plugs or it'll eat them and the coils, don't cheap out on them or bad shit happens. Nothing else ypu can do to improve mileage except take all the shit out of the trunk unfortunately....
We get 21.5 to 22 with 80% highway mileage. People who lead foot these pigs get 15 or less.
Unless the headlights are crazed badly or scratched the oem are better quality.

Is it a base, dhs or dts? Dts has higher gearing and 30 more hp so worse mileage and has electronic struts(easily bypassed so no errors). Dhs is a luxury highway sedan.

Goto the Cadillacforums dot com for shitload of tech tips and how to's.
Window pop and drops a common easily fixed issue if have one go out.

There now on the drivers window.
I don't know a lot about the car, saw it the first time yesterday and was under the hood.

Brakes = Raybestus Super Stoppers® are good?
full metallic? semi-metallic?
cleaning and lubing slides is correct way to do all brakes.

Am guessing DHS...will hafta find out for accuracy.

Lenses are yellowish, crazed, glazed, 16y/o...OEM replacements? = I dunno who's buying.

Got a call from my step mother last night. I haven't spoken with her since my Dad's funeral 3 years ago, where she basically accused me and all of my siblings of theft. Apparently, in the meantime, all of her friends and family has died, so now she's alone. She's still in the same big house with all of my father's stuff and doesn't know what to do with it. She's pissed that none of us have contacted her for 3 years. I asked her why she never tried to contact me. She said she was calling because she's going to see her estate planning attorney and wanted some input. I think she just wants help dealing with all of the stuff she and my Dad accumulated and she wants a family. We're all she has left (there are 6 of us). Too bad she alienated us.
She wants out of that house, but it's more than she can deal with. Being the sucker that I am, I offered to drive the 11 hours down there to help her deal with some of it. My Dad has a large collection of African art that he collected in the '70s when he lived there for a few years. Since it's not something you can really hawk on craigslist, I'll help her find a service that can maximize the value of it. For the rest, I'll get her with an estate sale company.

Ceramic brakes...
I get 4 wheel kits with rotors and pads off amazon or rock for under 150 i believe.

Aftermarket headlights run 100 to 150 plus for a pair, no oem replacements available I'd bet and they'd be big $.

Personally i hit boneyards and find nice lights, sometimes new replacements for cheap. Yes I'm a cheap sob... But to my defense they have 100 dollars all can haul out sales.
