No gators on my property. Plenty of deer. I don't hunt as much as I did a few years ago, but may take one at some point.

Due to the sheer number of soy boys this country is producing I think that there is a likelihood that there won't be enough hunters to harvest all the deer.

Never have I had a gator approach me as if it were going to attack me. We have a few in Goose Creek SC.
Killing them for future developments is BS. Just relocate them
Also, where they filmed the patriot, Cypress Gardens Sc, they had to drain the swamp for something, but they said there are bigger gators out there. They are elusive and that is why you dont see big ones past 13 feet very often.

I believe most of those of whom you reference are city dwellers. In my area every young kid (both boys & girls) are sporting camo and can't wait to get in the woods.

One friends young son and a couple buddies were going to help me saturday but canceled because they wanted to work on their food plot and shooting houses.

I haven't lived in the city since I was a kid.

Back in the late 80's I worked for a 100+ company in Upstate NY, and the first day of hunting season, the office was practically empty. I kinda doubt it's like that anymore.

Oh it's like that here.

Especially in construction. Forget productivity from thanksgiving (open of deer season) through the 1st of the year.

By january most have killed their limit and tagged out. Even though season runs to mid February.

The company I worked for in central PA had first day of deer season as an official “holiday” in the union contract and school districts shut down

Is there a season for cultivating alligators in most appropriate states? I always enjoy alligator appetizers for my annual Florida trip. I don't believe they are on any endangered list.

They were on the endangered list back in the 1970’s. But are not now. It’s illegal to take one without a nuisance permit from FWC or a state harvest tag.
