Naw. Larry's just a hard working guy who I respect. I went the same route, but with automotive repair and ended up in the same situation. (A good one).
Frugal people with solid work ethic and good common sense get my respect.

Festering pustules spouting homosexual epithets, not so much.

To coin a phrase from a popular western movie, Your hypocrisy knows no bounds.

You must be a Democrat. Taking things out of context. This was in response to Mad in NC's request that I give him a blow job.

Swing and a miss, but nice try.

Back then it was bologna and mustard on white bread. Maybe a cookie or packaged snack.

I would take that and like it, if it was the 1950's again. **** the 2020's.

...
Flashback alert... My dad did carpentry. He was also a heavy beer drinker.

Round about 1968 mom dropped me off to hang with him one afternoon. He ran out of beer and decided to let me drive him to the store for another 6 pack. I was 12 years old and the dirt road of the house we were working at was solid ice with a very steep crown so it could only be negotiated by balancing on the center.

The car was a '64 Ford Falcon manual transmission. Twice when I shifted up to third gear it went full-on sideways. Shifted down to second to put drag on the rear tires while staying balanced on the crown. Deep ditch on one side and mailboxes on the other. Scared the living crap out of me but he said nothing. Kept it in second after that and there was no third incident. He complimented my driving afterward saying I was a born natural LOL. Don't know about that but I do recall never wanting to work with him again

Great story, Torque! Was it 3 on the tree or floor shift? I've driven those cars with both and can just feel the slop in the steering, body roll, grabby drum brakes, etc. LOL.

The '57 150 Utility Sedan was a 2 door post that came with no back seat. Just a wooden shelf for hauling stuff. It was their cheapest 'car' and a favorite of drag racers due to lightness.

I'm sure that I am in the minority, but these and any other Tri-five chevy vehicles do nothing for me. I appreciate a nice restoration/preservation as much as the next guy, but it's not something I would ever care to have in the garage.

Beautiful example. A great price too. Id be interested, but not in its stock condition. Id keep it all stock just as she sits, but would have to change out the drive line...
