I'm always amused by Americans and our Boxing Day, a British tradition dating centuries back further before America was even a country. Also amusing, judged by most of the Americans I've met is why we have different dates for holidays. The two I'm asked the most are; "Why do you celebrate on July 1st?" and the best one is, "Why do you have Thanksgiving so early?" God Bless America.

The one holiday that our complany observes (and allows a paid day off) that I would now rather work than have the paid day is,,,, you guessed it,,,,,,Presidents Day.

I would never make fun of Boxing Day. My wife and I observe that holiday quite often, usually on the same day of our anniversary depending on if I remember it.
