The Lydian mode just doesn't sound right to me. Am I tone deaf?

These are the same people who endlessly whine about tolerance and how everyone should get along.
Apparently, their dictionaries are broken...

No, that is not the point. I am not religious, I could really car less if it was called Grand Union Wu-Wa, if I ever find anyone who will put up with my sarcastic, egotistical, midnight working, broke musician self, and got to that point, I would only have a religios based Wedding if it was something that was very important to my partner.

What I am saying is that in every instance this subject comes up, someone always points out that marriage is a religious union, which is fine, I have only been around for 35 years and don't claim to know everything about marriage...but there are those who are very religious, and do see marriage as being a religious union between two people, and even though they are gay, and they know that it is not the view of "the church" (ie depending on their church) they still have beleifs so strong that the religious union is important to them.

I know what in my mind what I am trying to say...just not sure if the words are coming across right...

I don't buy this one bit.

Phil, cover your eyes. I'm about to mention Christianity again.

OK, zz, here's the hypocritical part about that stance you are taking on religious gays getting married via the church. If they truly are religious (let's use Christianity here) then why are they openly defying the bible by being gay even though it is forbidden? So, since being gay is forbidden, why are they justifying being religious as a reason to get married when that is definitely a no-go?

They are not choosing to be gay...seriously, do you think with all the ridicule and discrimination that goes along with it that we CHOOSE to be gay? Bisexuals may choose to lean more towards which ever sex they are more attracted too, but as far as choosing to be straight or gay...for the most part, it is not a choice. The choice that is made is that we choose to be who we are and not live a life hiding who we are in shame.

Now, why they CHOOSE to continue to follow their faith when it persecutes (sp) them, that I can't answer, I don't really have many religious debates people, but I can only imagine what internal termoil they go through between being who they are, and being faithful to their faith....I mean hell, I feel guilty when I eat a ham sandwish on Jewish Rye

I'm still not buying it. Why are they following a faith they know ridicules their (un)natural lifestyle and doesn't condone it? That's like me keeping my views, but agreeing with every article Phil posts and join the Dems. It just doesn't make sense.

If I had the answers to questions like that, do you think I would be working 3rd shifts for a hotel???
