Beautiful car, and black....welcome to your new lifestyle. What's the security plan for that car, once it comes home with you?

Wife can drive a three pedal, it was her first two cars, for seven years, BUT she does not like the sound my cars make.

I also taught all three daughters to drive stick, that may be my greatest accomplishment.

I have driven stick as daily since 1986, a big factor I am weighing in my C8Z purchase decision.

Well done. Beautiful car, IMO. Black keeps the tail lights from jumping out at you. Also, black is a villian's color. You're not a bad guy, but you look like one. So it's appropriate.
Screw the naysayers. When you give some old women the pipes in the supermarket parking lot, post the video.

Just received an e-mail from the seller that he got the deposit and that he's having the car serviced next Tuesday at the dealer and having them do the safety certification (required here before transfer of ownership).

Need pics of the new house. When did you get that? I remember the old place - was that where the Z was stolen?

Congrats on the new sweet ride! You're the man!

In 1971 I taught my 1st wife how to drive a stick with my 440 Roadrunner. I grew up driving old tractors, assuming that was the norm, so it was a bit curious to me that someone might not know how to drive a stick. And today? Even the thiefs don't know?

The wife was so proud of herself, she told all her girlfriends about it, lol.

One of my college girlfriends taught me how to drive a stick shift on her 4 speed Chevette, so a bit of a role reversal.

Wifey got her first car, Monza, stick, in high school.
She learned on that, and it was costly, as took out the family's garage door.
She then got a Hyundai Excel, which I got after we married, she got a new car.

She is more than capable, just refuses to drive mine, as all are modified and loud as hell.

She tried to teach our oldest daughter, but it went poorly, I was thrown in, and due to that I also taught our two other daughers.

I learned to drive stick in two hours in huge parking lot.
Two days later I drove FTL to St. Pete, over the Skyway Bridge, I am thankful traffic flowed on the bridge, as it could have gotten very ugly.

In college I got the car I learned on, a 79 Civic, by the time I graduated it had no clutch left, I was damn good at rev shifting; it also had bad ball joints and the engine was spewing about a quart a week.

Sounds like this was decades before the gold chains and the 100's of bottles of Scotch.

Nice ride. Not a fan of black wheels but at least yours has some shine. Flat black wheels always look dirty.

We moved in January. I think I only have one picture of the exterior and it was from the day we closed; covered in snow.

All the flowers and trees are blooming so it looks much nicer now. I'll take a pic this weekend.

We were in a townhouse for 18 years.

Car was stolen form the new place 3 weeks ago.

Wheels should be chrome, or polished aluminum, but for black wheels, those are not bad looking.
