Although I am old enough to remember when the SNES came out and I wanted one for Christmas in the worst way.

I've been looking to buy that game for SNES for quite a while. It's a bitch to find.
Zelda on SNES is one of my favorite games of all time.

Don't bother unless you're an ace at soldering.

The batteries are starting to die in some of my earlier SNES games. Zelda for example, once I turn it off, saved games GONE.

Buy a Wii, download the games. Super Metroid and Zelda are both there, and there is a Wii classic controller that is really good.

Best argument for buying a Wii that I've heard yet. Everyone I know who bought one uses it for ~6 months and then it collects dust.

If you like Oblivion, buy Fallout 3 and New Vegas (If you haven't already)

Honestly, for me Oblivion was a huge step DOWN from Morrowind and very bland.

I hope Skyrim is much better.

Even with Mods, Oblivion still gets lame for me too quickly. The Dark Brotherhood Quests are always fun though.

The only two games on my Laptop right now are Fallout 3 and the Original Ghost Recon. Mods make them endlessly replayable.

As soon as there is a PC version of Fallout New Vegas with all the add-ons, I'll pick that up too. I always play the vanilla versions on XBOX first and eventually buy the PC versions to mod.

"Civilization IV". And I wish I still had my old copy of "Alpha Centauri"

Sid Meier / Firaxis FTW.

Mine "collects dust" in terms of what most people by them for. But I knew that would happen - I was primarily interested in it as an arcade machine for tons of old NES and SNES favorites.

They also have Sega, Turbografx, Nintendo 64, and Neo Geo games.

I had forgotten how inferior the Sega library was. Ugh.

Off the top of my head, I've downloaded Mario Bros, Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World, Super Mario 64, Zelda, Zelda a Link to the Past, Zelda 64, StarFox 64, Megaman 1, 2, and 3, Metroid, Super Metroid, Contra Reloaded, Ogre Battle, Ogre Battle 64, Punch-Out, Super Punch-out, and many more.

FYI if you have an XBOX 360, my favorite NES game of all time, Bionic Commando, has a remake on there. Same side scrolling game basically, but with really awesome graphics and some bosses added.

A couple of friends of mine went out and bought the arcade Super Sprint when we were in college. We would play that thing for hours and hours on end (usually with drinking involved).

One day I want the Punch-Out Arcade.

Fond memories of my Dad taking me to Pizza Inn, stuffing my face with pepperoni pizza and chocolate chip dessert pizza, and facing off against offensive racially stereotyped boxers in "Punch-Out!"

And Morrowind was a step down (at least in terms of the sandbox) from Daggerfall. I liked having 15,000 sites within 487,000 square miles to explore.

I'd be thrilled if Skyrim had half this.

It won't.
