I am not in the market for a new truck (shocking huh? ) but if I was I'd probably give the Silverado HD a serious look. I like them and they are much more available than the SuperDuty. I think Ford is moving to a custom order business plan for the SuperDuty trucks. |

I dislike painted bumpers. In less upside down world times, painted bumpers were for work trucks, Chrome bumpers were for the nicer, more well appointed trucks. The Custom and Cheyenne packages had painted bumpers, the Silverado had chrome bumpers.
We should get back to that. |

If only you knew someone who works on Ducs for a living...
Personally, I love everything about the Diavel... except for the resale market. Quote:

I cannot think of a worse answer. And that's from an admitted Duc fanboy. Short answer, the resale on the Diavel is pretty awful as it is a bike that clearly has divided opinions. Other than that. They're awesome and they certainly get attention everywhere they go. The days of nightmare Ducati maintenance are pretty well behind. They still have a significant amount, but nothing like the seemingly daily valve jobs of the older versions. They are also oddly comfortable to ride (at least in my opinion). |

Assuming I haven't made any modifications? But I have and the torque is a just a tad bit more than 96 ft-lbs. As for weight, I'd say it's more like a 300 pound difference... And that is my traction control. It's like the Z06 with a full grown passenger, or loaded with two carts of groceries on board, grip like no tomorrow

Assuming she goes down (no pun intended) on her front, at least that leather g-string thing will provide some road rash protection for her who-ha.
Boots and helmet look OK, she does need gloves, though....... |

I owned three bikes. My last was a '79 Kawasaki KZ650C. The C meant it had cast wheels and triple disc brakes. I used to practice stopping at speed to keep the rear tire planted. Two discs upfront meant that thing could stop on a dime. |

Not really sure what year or exact model your Valkyrie may be, but this was the OLD Diavel... which is slower than the new V4. https://www.cycleworld.com/2014/12/2...rcycle-review/ |

Gotta say I do like the trellis frame on the X Diavel but I don't care for the available color configurations.

Good read, thanks for the link A second and half faster in the quarter isn't exactly leaving the Valk in the dust though. I'd say it keeps up pretty good.
Performance mods I have are air box/jets/timing advance/free flow mufflers. She's pretty frisky. |
