Try this one Billy if you like pork chops: spread either Gravy Master or Kitchen Bouquet on both sides of chops. Sprinkle salt, pepper, and a bit of garlic powder also on both sides.

Let them sit a bit then broil in oven, flipping halfway through.

Beef for stew chunks marinated with brown sugar, soy sauce, lemon juice, ginger, and garlic and then threaded onto skewers with pineapple chunks alternating. Grilled until med. rare and served with stir fried rice. Good Housekeeping recipe - wasn't half bad. Here it is just before hitting the grill.

Had a very similar kabob! Using filet tenderloin just the other evening. She marinated them the night before, and used onions tomatoes and peppers on the them.

Last night, we had my wifes perfected homemade Lasagna, with my specially mixed ground beef (veal, beef mix). The tomato sauce was made from my tomatoes too! Last seasons still have another bag or two in the freezer! It lasted all through the winter months! With a side of garlic bread sticks.

Can't believe Bruze didn't offer me a chop.....

I didn't even think of it til you chimed in.

Next time, in a few days, I'll let you know. What happens if you eat pork, you go to hell or something?

Who would know -- God? Does he read this forum? Someone told me he only reads the "Doug" threads.

Tuesday is Papa Murphy's $10.00 any pizza Day. ($10.50 with tax)
Used to be no tax on uncooked/unprepared food in Wi, but the pols voted in
the tax because it was "a new revenue stream"

So, I had a Cowboy pizza.
Usually have the triple Peperoni pie, or a Thai Chicken,
but they don't have the bottle cap peperoni anymore.
Young girl behind the counter (nose ring, stringy hair, tats galore but she
makes a good pie), informs me "price is going up next week, $10.99"

**** you California wage hike commies.
Oh well, getting into warm season, too hot to fire up the oven anyway.
No more Pizza Tuesdays for a while.

I was taken out last night to a restaurant named del Frisco's for my semi retirement party. I'd rather have taken the money than the food but it was a great meal.

Semi retirement means I'm cutting back on my work hours to 3 days a week until my wife decides to throw in the towel too. So far it's keeping me busy but still navigating my time off (I'm spending more money to do house stuff!!).

Drinks first then....
Shrimp, oysters and crab for an appetizer
Lettice wedge
Crab cakes as main course with family style mashed potatoes, creamed corn and creamed spinach.
No dessert.....

Lat night wifey made her beef tacos with homemade pico de galle, I always just smash the hard shells and make the biggest taco salad the plate can handle.

Tonight, turkey sausage with peppers-both red and green, white onions and a little white rice.

Wifey been very, very good to me!!

I don't know if they exist but I have made these a few times now.
They are deboned chicken thighs flattened and marinated overnight with Shaoxing wine, 5 spice, a whole bulb of garlic, ginger, soy sauce, brown sugar, ground Szechuan peppercorns and water.
A sheet of Nori is laid on top with sushi rice, shitaki mushrooms, cabbage, carrots and onions that have been stir fried.
All rolled up and tied together. Roasted for 45 minutes.
Homemade teriyaki glaze on top.
In the past I have also added tempura shrimp or crab meat in the middle.
