Bullshit. There are kids' menus and they can either eat or learn what being hungry is the way we did. It pisses me off to see him try to reason with a 2yo and a 7yo who both do whatever the hell they want...and usually at high volume.

I met a guy who let his kids call the shots. After he put them through college he proudly told me that they had become activists. I told him that, in that case, he had failed as a parent.

I remember my step-daughter, at about 4, throwing a fit because she didn't want the whole family to ride in one car. My wife caved and we took our own car. She asked me why I was pissed and I said I don't appreciate being told what to do by a 4 year old. She said she didn't want to listen to her cry the whole way. I said let her cry. She'll get over it.

I like GTO. I find his schtick to be mildly amusing, but sometimes hilarious, but then Yaddy is also ok by me. He can be hilarious as well.

GTO is a funny dood, one helluva of lyricist, and a competent mechanic. I believe he purposely plays the Yaddy Amiration Role to pizz everyone off.

Yaddy is a little crusty, but knows his shit, about almost all things, and will always lend a hand, his FL schtick is hackneyed, but humorous at times. I would call him if I got pinned under a car, pretty certain he has ten ways to get out and save one's life.

I stated before I have respect for Yaddy, as he went back to CF with only a single intent, and ripped those aholes, while fully knowing it was his last post, he gave them the big FU, I kinda teared up a little.

Yaddy would be better than UD if he had all that free time to post,,,

I would have to say that I agree 100% with this assessment. It's amazing how some folks get riled up with the Yadkin-on-a-pedestal schtick. Oh well.

Anyway, thanks for the compliments. I agree with your Yad assessment as well. I respect the man for what he has accomplished and the work he has done on his old cars, as well as his wit and his hard head. His performance over on CFOT reminded me of that scene in an old movie where Dennis Hopper is about to get tortured to death by mobsters in his trailer, so he goes into an ape-analogy-comparison and gets them so mad they lose their tempers and kill him instantly. Which is what he wanted. Yadkin has that kind of style. The long-boneyarded 'Barney Fife' line was a total jaw dropper and I knew when I read it, it would be fatal. After coming back from a 30 day ban, took Yaddie less than 6 hours to get the perma. That, IMO, is grit.
